Hey

Completely agree with this whole process

We were soo pissed off that we only installed LOOM and Vacuum Pro. All the other 5 VI are still not installed. And not to mention it is about 50-60GB download files and we can't pay that much extra bandwith just to hope and take a chance it will "maybe work" so I know what you are saying 100%

Regarding the installers, there are different versions for Mac and Win aswell as several autorizations for multiple times should you need to reinstall etc.

Thats why there are so many auth numbers included.
I saw that more people have issues with structure crashing their systems but sorry to say I can't help there. But atleast you know why there are a few versions of each.

Best of Luck
Christopher

Chris! You are welcome to drop by at any time with a hard drive and I will give you the working installers. Since we are 1000 miles apart, you may prefer to go someplace else, but I think it is a good idea for you all the same. We have unlimited internet and most folks do here in Sweden, but I understand you don't. Are you on a wireless 4g router, perhaps? God fortsδttning and a Happy Gear Year!

Hi Chris, we spoke yesterday regarding the error in upgrading to PT 11.1 version. Is it possible that the "AIR Music Technology" Plug ins (boom, expander, virtual instruments) not compatible with the PT11.1?

Im getting Vacuum Pro Errors and crashes. Wasted all day yesterday trying to narrow down. in PT 10.3.8 w/ OS 10.8.5

With Just a mixer plug in (Surround) and Vacuum Pro still was crashing.

So it doesn't seem to be a conflicting plug in.

Sending Crash logs and going back and forth with AIR Music to try and figure out. But if anyone else is having issues. Lets try and figure out what out common threads are with our systems...

Orbit Trackballs, Esata Cards, Audio Interfaces, there has got to be something we all have making this happen since others report smooth sailing!

Hi

We have been at this all day and all night and FINALLY we have all 7 VI working in PTHD 11.1.1 I have no idea why it works now but had we known this would be this hard to make work we would have never done this purchase regardless of the price of upgrade. I am soo sorry to hear the VI crashing your systems, shouldn't be like this after soo long time testing and porting

I wish all you guys the best of luck and hopefully figure out what's going on ..

Christopher

Not for the whole pack, but there have been updates to Loom and Vacuum Pro. If I recall correctly, Loom had an issue with recalling parameters in saved sessions, which was fixed by the update. I'm not sure about what the Vac Pro update was about, since I can't seem to find a changelog.

Anyway, both have been updated to 1.0.1 and are available here:

os 10.8.5 and pro tools 10.3.8

seems the least stable since PT 8 days.

Ive removed all new Air Music Tech v2 instruments

reinstalled the os combo updater and the supplemental update.

reinstalled pro tools, the avid virtual interments, and the PTIEP

done all trashing, repairing permissions, system optimizations and all that.

ANYONE with a mac pro 12 core but more specifically

this OS and PT combo achieving stability???

if so do you also have

Redline Monitor
Tt Dynamic Range Meter

U have Wireless on?

A Kensington orbit trackball with trackball works?

Im just thinking its one of these other things...

I use Sonnox (latest AAX)
SOundtoys (latest AAX)
Mc DSP (latest AAX)
Massey (latest but not aax of course)
DMS2
Verigo
The Glue

Almost all the digi/avid plug ins.

Im at my witts end with this combo.

I can get back to a previous OS. . but before I do i figured I would see if this is working for some and therefor I just need to track down the culprit.
