Advice On Selling Pro Tools Hardware & Software including Factory Bundle!

Hi there, just wondering if anybody could give some advice as I'm really stuck!

Unfortunately I am having to sell off my studio to fund other projects and this includes selling Pro Tools. I am selling Pro Tools 8 with the Mbox 2 and Factory bundle & iLock.

Does any body know how I should go about doing this as it seems like bit of a nightmare to me. Is it even possible to transfer ownership?

I need to know how to transfer everything into the buyers name including hardware and software including iLock licences (I only have the Factory Bundle licenses).

I have looked on the iLock website and found that they can transfer licences for a fee providing that the Software Publisher allows it. Will Digidesign even allow me to transfer the Factory Bundle licences?

Sorry if that's a lot to ask but I'm really having trouble finding out information. I have no idea why they make it so hard for people!?

I cant find any info on this. I got a new 002r a few years back, and upgraded each version of protools to the current PT9.

Now i have a new interface and i want to sell the 002r with the original PT6 or 7 software cd's (i want to keep my iLock for PT9).
What happens to the software licence, if i fill out a transfer of ownership form, do i loose my licence for PT9? or does the new owner have to purchase a full version of PT9 and a new iLock?

I don't think you have to transfer PT9 as long as you let the purchaser know you've used it for the crossgrade and they will have to pay full price for PT9 it they want it.

Or when I sold my 002 on eBay I mentioned that I had used it for the crossgrade and offered to include pt9 for $250. They took me up on it and I found another license for about the same price. So I actually had the license transferred to my account and then transferred it to them. It was never on my ilok. And if they already had an ilok account you could have it transferred direct to them and save a transfer fee. So just be honest and it should be okay.

PT9 is yours if you choose to keep it. However, the serial code on the 002 is no longer valid for redeeming the PT9 crossgrade price. So, that should be factored into the price and definitely make the buyer aware of that.
