deleting
from what I have heard there is a special way you need to delete recordings that you no longer want, or screw up on and want to get rid of. I am wondering how to do that. I want to make sure I dont get my computer to bogged down

Re: deleting
From a session, click in the region list and select all the regions you do not want. In the regon list header bar, click on it for options and select Clear Selected. Then use the option to DElete as this will remove the region AND the original audio file.
Be careful as this operation is NOT undoable
