HD & PT 9, and some general questions...

Hey

I'm currently using PT HD 8.1 and I'm thinking about upgrading to HD9.
I have some questions though which I couldn't find an answer to
just by looking around.

My setup is as follows: Win 7 64Bit, Pentium i7, HD Core & 1 Process Card
(PCI), Lynx Aurora 16 w/ LT-HD.

Now in the last avid spotlight newsletter, in the review about pt9, i read
the following lines:
"...runs on a Pro Tools|HD system, which utilizes an HD Accel Core card and one or more HD Accel cards."

Does this mean PT9 HD won't work with the (not accel) PCIx cards??

Another question I had regarding expanding my HD system is...
Well, Can you mix & match HD card types?
like: PCIx & PCIe cards on the same system? (on a PC)
Can you mix Process Cards & Accel Cards? (both PCIx)
and if not, will a PCIx HD Process card work with a PCIe to PCIx adapter?

PT9HD WILL work with PCIx cards.

I don't believe you can mix PCIe & PCIx cards.

I believe you CAN mix PCIx process and accel cards.

Don't know about the PCI adapters.
