Default Can't see Addictive Drums

Hi,
I've just installed Addictive Drums 2 on my Mac Book Pro. I'm running PT 9 and cannot see AD2 in the instruments through inserts. Any advice/suggestions would be welcome. Thank You

Trash prefs and databases so PT has to do a full rescan of the plugins folder.

Hey

AD2 doesn't seem to work on PT9 anymore

If you scroll down on This webpage it says aax32/64 but no rtas so you have to upgrade your PT9 if you wanna use AD2

Thanks Jimmy,Thanks for you help. I checked the link out but I'm having trouble finding the preferences folder they are referring to:

Pro Tools 10 and below on Mac
Go to Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\Digidesign and delete the Databases folder.
Quote:
Go to you User folder and select Library (on Mac OS X 10.7 and up, you need to select the Go menu from the Finder task bar while holding the Option key to access the User\Library folder).
Go to the Preferences folder and delete the following items:
com.digidesign.ProTools.plist
DAE Prefs
DigiSetup.OSX
Pro Tools Prefs
Empty your trash.

Like Dave and Christopher said, AD2 is AXX format only, and PT9 must have RTAS. AD1 is RTAS.

So you must either upgrade to PT10 (takes 32bit AAX), or try and find a v1 of AD (RTAS).

Be aware that Addictive Drums v.1 and 2 are incompatible, v2 wont be able to open a session with AD1 inserted on a track.
