Default help with getting that dance song bass sound

Hi guys

ive had a rock band come in and do a version of a dance song they like, but they are after that bass sound you get in dance tracks really low feel it instead of here it. I transfered the bass guitar track to midi in melodyne to try and use Xpand with a synth bass but to no avail. Anybody out there wanna share some tips please or suggestions

Cheers Raoul

I've had success with duplcating the track, and then putting Amplitube SVX on there. Under the stompbox section there's an octave pedal. Blend it in to taste. Super-subs!

I do this on lots of stuff. You might also duplicate the track, crush it(BF76 with all buttons in) and give it some sansamp for grit, and blend that. Pretty sure most dance tracks use more synth bass than strings, but sure how well Xpand does Moog bass

Yes, it's hard to offer a demo when the sample library is 35GB.
After buying Omnisphere, Trilian was a no brainer for me.
