Default Furman HDS-6 Setup

I just got my hands on a complete HDS-6 system for a steal (the pawn shop guy had no clue what he had... some of the mixers were brand new!)

Now I'm trying to set it up... before I just ran my DIGI001 (PT 6.4) into a cheap headphone amp and we split the same signal. I'd like to have 4 different sub mixes (drums, bass, vocals and guitars)... what's the best course of action for doing this?

Thanks!

Figured it out... I just created 4 Aux Tracks (guitars, vocals, drums and bass) and then I send the corresponding instruments to those Auxes.

I was then able to send the individual Auxes to 4 different outputs... each of which corresponded to an input on the HDS-6. This is perfect for tracking and when I'm ready to mix I can send the 4 Auxes to the Main outputs and I'm ready to go.

Should be even easier than that. I've never used an 001, but if it works the same as all other Digi multi-out I/Os, the hardware outs show up on track sends. Say you're currently bussing all your guitars to buss 3-4, with an Aux track that has bus 3-4 In and Analog 3-4 Out. Just replace the bus 3-4 send on each guitar track with Analog 3-4 sends and ditch the Aux track.

so instead of using aux busses from i/o I can just use my track sends? Then I can keep my main mix going to the main outputs?
