Default Can't use sessions at 44.1kHz

I've searched around for this - because I have read it somewhere, but i can't find it again...

Basically I can't run Pro Tools at 44.1 because of loud pops and clicks - although it runs fine at 48. i went to open a template which are saved at 44.1 at had the problem - immediately closing that and switching to 48 solves the problem.

I'm using an eleven rack...So basically I can't use a session saved at 44.1.

Any ideas - thanks in advance....

Make sure sample rate of session and eleven rack sample rate match. If it doesn't resolve problem. Let's hope not, but your unit might be defective. I suggest call avid for repair. If you bought defective unit, you're covered by 1 year warranty.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm surprised it's that final...I can't remember actually if it ever worked at 44.1. I think I created my sessions at 48.

If PT is closed and I try and change the sample rate - I have the problem, and I guess you're pretty limited to what you can try beyond this. My firmware is up to date - I haven't upgraded to the PT 8.0.4 though.

Is there really no over option other than it's faulty - that's the Mbox and this in a row I've had problems with....

Chris
