PT 10.3.10 Installation- Strange issues

Hello friends,

i just updated my PT 10.3.9 to 10.3.10 few days ago.

after successful installation few strange things happen

1- in 10.3.9, i could check Low Latency Monitoring and record voice without latency, but in 10.3.10 i can't hear the recording voice while Llm checked

2- when ever i open a session a pop-up coming and saying ""external clock choice invalid. reverting to internal."
have to click OK and proceed

3 - If try to change buffer size , PT crashing and need restart system and 003 Factory


after experiencing these issues, i revert back to 10.3.9 , and now everything is fine..!!!!!!!

what could be wrong..??

When you updated, did you uninstall 10.3.9, or install OVER the old version? Did you also uninstall preferences, database files, etc(which might make the difference here)? Having said all that, I really only have 2 suggestions:
1-if it ain't broke, don't fix it(IOW, if 10.3.9 does what you want/need, keep it)
2-Most modern computers can handle plenty of tracks at the 64 buffer, so skip LLM and just use a low buffer while tracking and overdubbing

i did a clean un-iinstall before installing 10.3.10

after facing problems, again i did a clean uninstall and re-installed 10.3.9

you are correct, sometimes its better to stay with what we have

I'll say it for Albee....(and because it makes perfect sense)...

Make sure you backup your working PT/system drive to another location so if anything happens it's easy to revert back rather than having to re-install everything.

i UNMOUNT one of the internal Hard disk which was old and shut down spotlight function through Terminal

and

now the pop up ""external clock choice invalid. reverting to internal." not coming..!!

just updating, perhaps it helps any of you…
