This is great information. Maybe TheChimp or Chris can chime in on what Revision fixed the no sound / sample rate issue? It is something I would check upon purchase, to ensure that the unit is free of this problem.

Thats exactly why i asked the avid tech to see if theres anyway of knowing what batch is what. The last thing i wanted to do was swap this thing out for another bad one, specially knowing that the GC may have gotten their current shipment of 11R's all at once.

He emailed me later that day with the info, he never mentioned anything about a "bad batch", although i dont blame him, even if he knew im sure that the last thing avid wants is people being picky about what 11R to buy lol, or avoiding certian batches like the plague lol. But he did say that Rev H1 had an "updated circuit", thats it.

I can certainly imagine that Avid might like to keep such information to themselves. However, plenty of people will still buy Eleven Rack without even wondering about hardware revisions. Anyway, I figured I could just ask and see what happens.

Should be on one of the stickers on the actual 11R box. Same sticker with the PN #

yeah well, im glad you guys can get yours fixed
because everyone in Australia refused to fix mine, which has the same 44.1khz issue everyones seems to have

avid tells me the Australian store is responsible for replacing/fixing it
store tells me send it to the usa

around in circles we go

been 6 months and I have a useless product shipped with a known fault that no one is prepared to take responsibility for

absolutely awesome support

support for Australia comes from Japan
I went back to them for more help, they didnt respond for ages, then the 60 days had elapsed, so I was told I had used my 1 free support case to get the 'take it back to where you bought it from, we wont help you' answer.

Now I have to pay to get any more help from them.

My Echo Gina 24 is working just fine, should never have thought of replacing it
