Default NETWORK ISUUE IN PRO TOOLS with S3L

I use Pro Tools 11 on a MacBook Pro I7 2.2 GHz / 8 GB RAM, together with S3L system through AWB64. connected at the main ethernet port. Everything is OK, no problems, until I try to connect another network device through the Thunderbolt ethernet or wi-fi port and then Pro Tools freezes.
Actually I try to connect another Pro Tools (installed on another Mac Book Pro, similar) as slave through Midi Timecode by network cable (for video play, unsignificant). I really don't want to use 2 midi interfaces, for me it is an "old fashion" way :)
I manage to connect the 2 laptops (Audio Midi Setup / MIDI / MIDI Network Setup) and everything seems to be ok but when I start the master ProTools, it freezes.
The situation is identical with wi-fi (computer-to-computer network).

Thank U very much!

I'm not sure if this is related to S3L or not.

Do you have the same problem if you take the S3L out of the setup? So disconnect S3L from your Pro Tools computer and just the built-in Aggregate I/O in Setups>Playback Engine, then repeat your network connections. Does the problem still occur?

Thanks,
-MikeZ

Definetly not. I think it's a matter of network.

I cannot reproduce this problem by simply connecting another computer via ethernet. Can you provide some details about your setup and application?

Are you using DHCP or manual addressing for the 2nd network connection? The application is a 2nd Pro Tools system running Video Satellite? Does it freeze only when you launch Pro Tools on the 2nd system or immediately upon connecting the network cable?

I'm also not following if you are having the same problem using MIDI.

Thanks,
-Mike

Noticed you might use wrong driver.. check the link:

You will see several AVB Devices in this window when your S3L is connected. Select Avid AVB64. Once it is checked, you will see it in the available audio devices on the left.
