Default MOTU doesnt seems to like pro tools TDM... :)

Hi!
WOnder if i can post this question here as it's related to pro tools TDM too...
If it cant, please remove this thread.. Thanks!

I m using OS 10.3.2 with pro tools 6.2.3.
Accel HD ver...

I have a mackie HUI ( firmware 1.45 ) and a USB Midi Express XT ( 8x8 ).
Although after installing the usb midi express, i cant seems to control pro tools from HUI..
Anyone has any idea how to do it?
I've done it b4.. but cant send the hui output...

Please advice!

Check under Midi->Input Devices...

Make sure the port that your HUI is plugged into is active.

Also make sure in setup peripherals that a HUI driver is enabled and assigned to the same midi interface/port/midi input that the HUI is connected. As far as Midi express state/mode- probably whatever will allow a keyboard on that input to send midi into protools (you can trouble shoot by trying a keyboard in that input and see that the keyboard's output gets to protools). Make sure that nothing is filtering out system exclusive from the HUI.
Oh, and you did check that the midi express and HUI are both showing up in Core Midi presumably.
