Default VST Drum Sessions

In my former life - pre protools, I was a seinberg VST guy. I had purchased one of the drum session packages, which includes drum sessions broken out in tracks, and a stereo mix disk of those sessions. I can't seem to figure out any way to import either the sessions OR the stereo mix into protools. itunes does not seem to recognize the files nor does protools.

Does anyone think it is possible to inport into PT either the broken out tracks or the simple stereo mix? If so I would love to learn. I have a Mac G-4 867 and Digi 001.

Thanks for any help.
Richard

Those files are in REX format (Recycle Export). You can get them into PTLE by doing the following:

1) Load the tracks into Cubase VST
2) Select the tempo you want
3) Save them as AIFF or WAV onto your hard drive
4) Import them into your PTLE session

That makes sense, I'll give it a try - though Cubase is loaded on my PC so I will need to do a little extra file copying.

Thanks

As far as the stereo tracke go, You can import them through the (import audio from movie) area located under movie on the toolbar. This will put the tracks in the region list, then create a stereo audio track and pull the region into it.
I am currently converting all of my VST drum session disk over to a useable PT format.
