I understand where you're coming from Vonbleak... but we DID get 32 tracks in LE first. And while plug in support is still lagging behind the Mac, it's getting a lot better.

And here's the (possibly) good news: Other reports I've heard (non-"official", so assume they're just rumors) say that PT LE 6 is being developed concurrently with PT 6. I'm going to AES in less than a week, and should know more then. Until then, let's just hang in there and hope for the best.

BTW if you haven't seen it you can change the appearance to graphite in the System Preferences and get rid of the candy colored widgets.

Usually, the LE version is released a buisness quarter after the TDM release. You got to let those big spending TDM users have their day.

I can't wait to get more details on the version 6 release! Escpecially about the, "new organizational features" I have been waiting for better ways to organized plugins and audio regions for a while now.

So looks like no support for Audio Units?

And no release date listed, I wonder if we'll find out at AES?

I'm hearing that PT6 will have more of an aqua look.
Speaking of this look, check out---------

www.McDsp.com
and click on the new look for their products. Colin mentioned that their PT6 versions will be ready when Digi is.

And get this, no $$$ for current users. Colin kicks ass again!!
