Default Studio Monitors

Ok... I didn't have any luck the first time so... let me try again.... is there a way I can connect three monitors to my digi 002 rack... I already got two connected... but I purchased a sub... and I don't know where to connect it... Is there a way I can do this and get a normal signal from the three monitors???.... the salesman that helped me told me that I need a crossover... but I'm trying to save me some money here... (and he kind of sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about)... Help guys.... Thanx

Most active subs have a builtin crossover and summ the L/R for the sub, and send unaffected full range outs from the sub to the speakers. So, two cables from the 002 to the sub, then two cables from the sub to the sattelites. That's the "normal" way for near field monitors with a sub. Perhaps if you gave us the make and model numbers of your gear, we could offer some better advice.

Just run cables from the PT interface to the sub woofer L&R inputs, and a second set of cables fro the sub ouputs to the Rokit5's.
