Mbox Mini 2 Sound Recording Problem
Hello,
I recently bought a Mbox Mini 2 and installed the Protools LE 8 software on my computer. I have the instrument input (guitar) set up correctly, and on my computer I even see the midi input levels jumping up almost to red before I record. Every time I record, I see the midi input changing, and I can even hear it through my headphones, but protools doesn't record anything. It simply records a blank space with absolutely no volume or input. I don't use an external hard drive. Is this the reason? Thanks kindly, Rebornalphawolf |

Re: Mbox Mini 2 Sound Recording Problem
You have to record to an AUDIO track!
Your guitar is mono audio!

Re: Mbox Mini 2 Sound Recording Problem
If you are new to PT's, you might not realize that both the track, and the transport must be record enabled! Record enabling just the track, will only alow you to monitor your playing. If recording to an audio track also, then obviously all 3 would need to be red! (The transport is at the top, or can be brought up with Alt + 1 on the number pad). You will have to get a 2nd drive to have any real success with any DAW, but I doubt it is your prob just to record??!!
