MIDI SYNC NOT WORKING W/ 6.1 // mpc 2000xl

I upgraded to 6.1 and now my MPC 2000xl won't allow me to sync it with the software. What do my settings in PROTOOLS need to be and do I still use MMC or MTC on my MPC?

Windows/Show session Setup/Timecode Settings and click MTC to port then select your port going out to MPC.

Peripherals/Machine Control = Enable, Send To =Select port going to MPC.

This should get you going. You'll be using MMC and MTC to control your MPC.with ProTools as master.

AYo^ Good looks on the help.... I was just having a dumb out moment and didn't think to select the correct port on my MPC on which the midi was routing out of. Thanks tho, Ur right on target with that help.

hey, would this also work with protools 6.4 and an m-box? also, do you need any other hardware (usb to midi connection box) to get everything to sync up correctly?
