Copy/paste with both txt files side-by-side has been quicker, and if someone's going to copy/paste, the space is an issue. In either scenario, it's important to know that spaces are important.

I would only copy & paste individual numbers sets - not the whole line. Or just write it out as I don't care about how fast it goes - I just want to take my time and get it right.

BTW has anybody noticed that some of the key commands like save and close session and quit PT that use the command key don't always work right until you restart PT? Been happening here quite a lot. Note that this has been happening to me after making some changes to the dark mode file.

When 2020.11 came out, I tried Dark Mode but turned if off right away.
The other day, I turned it back on to try it for a day, to maybe getting used to it, but after half a day, I turned it back off again.

Sorry, it doesn't work for me.

Have you tried any of the mods to the dark mode txt file posted here? It may help. Every once in a while I try 'classic' mode and then turn it off - too much eyestrain with it.

When 2020.11 came out, I tried Dark Mode and left it on.
The other day, I turned it off to try Classic again, but after a minute, I turned it back off again.

Sorry, dark mode works for me (this all said in fun!).

Yes, I'm totally used to Dark Mode and won't switch back. I'm hoping they'll tweak it along the way.

Also, in the recent Avid user survey, one of the questions pertained to something like "Pro Tools modernized GUI," or something to that effect, which suggests they possibly have more changes in store. My first vote would be to revamp the stock plug-ins.

What are your major issues with it? Which elements? My company has been most unhappy with the difficulty in spotting which MIDI notes are selected, with the dark edit window background a close 2nd. And the difficulty in knowing if a plugin in active or inactive.

I have a hybrid of the stock Dark mode and a few alterations. I like where it has landed and will likely stick with it. Though I was in your camp when I first saw Dark mode.

In Pro Tools I actually need to WORK, not just look at the pretty colours.
