Default Artist Control for Stylus RMX and RME TOtalmix

Hi,
I am seriously looking into this nice controller.
THe main thing to being able to control apart from the PT Mix window and tracks automation, is Stylus RMX and RME's Totalmix.
Anyone having any luck/issues controlling them?

Also what's the deal with surround panning? Is it possible?
I read in the avid product page that it is a feature although i haven't really read anything beyond that.

Any info would be great,

Thanks

You should go test one at a music store.

I have not been able to get my Artist Control, Transport or Mix to work with TotalMix on OS X Lion since I got them last August. Several other users have reported the same problems.

Neither Avid not RME have commented on the issue in some time.

Thankfully I have a Yamaha control surface that works with TotalMix.

I finally got mine working with RME totalmix on PC, but it was very buggy, sometimes it just lose the Mackie Control connection and I would have to restart to get the control back.
Since the Latest RME update (3.27) a month ago, it has been stable.
As far as Stylus goes, I don't use my Artist Control for that, I use V-Control Pro on Ipad for controlling plugins when needed.

But could you?
Remote Stylus with AC?

When you say buggy, how does that affect totalmix?
