Quantize to grid not working.

Here I go again! I jumped from Pro Tools 12.6 ,(which worked just fine), to Pro Tools 12.7,(which sucks)! I came with my wonderful new Creation Station which is fantastic except for the flimsy, cheap CD burner! Every time I try to load a CD, it jams! Anyway, the changes Avid has made to the editing symbols have thrown me for a loop! I can't make Quantize to grid work! This was easy as pie in 9 ! Input quantize seems to work ok. Does anyone have a solution?

Hmmm, its working here(12.8) so maybe review your method? Make sure your midi is highlighted. Are you showing NOTES or CLIPS on the track? If CLIPS, try changing to NOTES.

One other thing; is your counter set to show Bars:Beats? Mine often changes itself to time(minutes and seconds) so the grid lines look way off(because they are). Changing back is easy enough, but it still leaves me scratching my head

Thanks albee. good to hear from you. I always stay with Bars/Beats and I haven't noticed it changing. I didn't realize that MIDI should be hi lighted. I've tried both options In Quantize, (at the moment I can't recall what those options are), anyway I'll try the MIDI option and see if that works. As usual thanks.
