Default Transfer user default plugin settings to Mojave’s

Hi all,

I’m in the midst of total clean install of Mojave in order to make the move to 2019.5.

I’d love to start with fresh preference files EXCEPT I’d really love to not have to recreate my very deep custom user defaults for many, many plugins.

Does anybody know of a way to do this?

Thx
Ben

Yes I’ve done that. These setting reside in one of the prefs files, if I’m not mistaken.

Hey mods,

How do I change the topic of this thread? “Presets” should be changed to ”user default plugin settings”.

Thx
Ben

Hey Benny

Changed the thread name as requested. Did I understand you correctly?

I don't think so. Where the settings are stored depends on the plugin. Some store in a folder with the PT session, some have a designated folder where presets are stored and I think some even overwrite the settings in the plugin itself.
