Default Synchronizing Sessions

I am working on some episodic recordings that I am assembling out of 10-20 subsessions. Every time that I want to alter the submix I have to remix the specific clip, reimport it into the assembled session, place it and redo all the sends and fades. Is there a method for synchronizing the clips to the assembled session so that the each time I make adjustments to the mix in the subsessions they are already synced to the assembled session?
