With all the problems that I have been reading about with people getting ripped off on the DUC. I went to check out Paypal for some large payment and receipt of payments that I have planned. I am assuming that you guys are using the premier plan with Paypal. Is this the best plan for large sums of $$? (I am selling gear for about 4,000 and need to receive this money securely. I am about to make another purchase for about 2,000) Thanks for your advice in advance.

For really large transactions, online escrow such as Tradenable.com is a good way to go. For a smallish fee, this is secure.

Also, FedEx does COD and you can specify money order or cashier's check only.

But people these days are good at faking MO and Certified Checks...not all FedEx delivery employees are good at discerning falsified payments. Tradenable.com is by far the best way to go. You even get a grace period to check over the goods once the product has arrived before giving tradeable.com the go-ahead to send the payment you have previously registered with them.
