Default No one using the updated FIREWIRE LEOPARD drivers?

I AM....

just wondering what everyone else thinks about them.

PT seems to be running much smoother with my Firewire Solo, external clock sync, etc. No CPU errors in a while (knock on wood)

not so smooth here

i use the FW1814 as a system audio device and with PTMP. the driver works fine after a clean reboot with any applications as itunes, ... but when quitting PTMP i get and error http://snipr.com/29nxa-ou8veh
after that there comes no more audio out of the interface (the mixer window still displays a signal coming through the software returns)

back to the old drivers

...it comes down to PTMP messing up the driver !! - lol

the new 1.8.3-8 driver seems to work with every audio application on my system (quicktime, itunes, ableton live, logic) and when I start PTMP 7.4cs4 it still works ok, BUT after quitting PT the driver is messed up ---> ONLY a reboot + turning off/on the unit helps -

now i am just waiting for the first one who comments "ptmp is not certified for leopard yet" hahahahahaha - rofl! joke of the year
sorry guys, but that's not acceptable. the old "not certified" 1.8.2 driver works better with less problems than your FINAL leopard drivers.

hehe, i am actually just one guy ;-)

don't you have problems after quitting pt and launching it again? does it only happen to me, because it's reproducable on my macbook.

btw. the official answer of the german tech-support:
"Wir können leider zu Pro Tools unter 10.5.2 keine Stellung nehmen, es wird offiziell noch nicht unterstützt."
(=not supported yet)

so back to work with the old drivers & waiting till everything is Leo-certified.

Hi folks,

This is my first post here. I've just gotten a new ProjectMix I/O and PTMP 7.4cs4. I'm experiencing the same problems as Fizzler, using the 1.8.3-6 firewire driver. After reading that several people decided to use earlier drivers, I tried the 1.8.2 driver, but it crashed my system. For now, I will continue using 1.8.3-6, knowing that the interface will not function after quitting PT, until I reboot. Unless, someone knows of another driver that will work in Leopard...

My first post too!

Am using the latest M-Audio firewire drivers to run a ProjectMix I/O on a Mac Pro (Intel 2.66), using Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4.2pr (the new one) on OS X 10.5.3 (the new one). Not stable atm (PT keeps losing sight of HUI device - i.e. the ProjectMix). However, early days as PTMP 7.4.2 & the M-Audio FW drivers all BETA vsn.

Will let u know what Digi Tech Support come up with.
