Sampletank not showing up in PT 8.0?

(I posted this in the PT LE section...figure I should put it in the VI section)

I just realized that my Sampletank 2.0 is not listed under all my plugins in PT 8.0. It is not in the unused folder.....is there something I need to do in order for PT8 to see it?

It worked fine with my old 7.1

I opened up an aux stereo track...went to look for it and there was no Sampletank?

Interestingly enough, my Miroslav, Amplitube, and Amplitube Fender/SVX plugins work fine?

Has anybody had any problems with Sampletank in PT 8.0?

What happens if you open it up in an instrument track?

Sampletank will not show up on my list of plugins when I create a stereo (or multi-mono) instrument or aux track.

I checked my unused plugin folder and it's not there....I can see it in the plugins folder....very strange

Keith, are you talking about SampleTank, or SampleTank 2.5?

has anyone solved this yet, i am having the same issue i see this

SampleTank2.xSE.dpm

in the "plug in alias" folder (Mac 10.5). seems like an odd name.

My issue seemed to be 2.0 vs 2.5...
I believe I am good now.
(sorry..forgot to come back to my own thread! tsk..tsk!)

I'm finding the same problem, although If I open a session from the past (created in v7.1) where I used S.Tank it is there and usable in v8. But in a new session it isnt in the instrument options..?

Hello all-we have been seeing some issues with instrument tracks, though not all systems are affected. For now, download the latest version of SampleTank and to then load it on an Aux track, with as many MIDI tracks as needed. This should be a fix till we figure out what is causing some systems to have issues.
