Default Windows 10 Creators Update

Hello,

Eucontrol seems not OK with the lasted iteration of Windows. As soon as the app is launched, the system freezes. Everything is back to normal when you exit Eucontrol.

Any update soon ?

I uninstalled and reinstalled with no result. I tried the 3.4.1 version with no more success.
Back to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and everythibg is OK. Maybe a problem with the W10 update. I will try on a test system with an install from scratch.

Thank you for your answer.

Denis

Default Windows 10 Creators Update

With Creator on my system, I just uninstalled and re-installed 3.5. It has not fixed EuCon stealing focus from drop down dialogue boxes. It is easy for me to reproduce with Firefox and try to view the help menu. Or try windows sounds and select the dialogue box to change to none.

To get back to a stable state I have to disable EuCon startup items in Task Manager then restart my system.

I have verified I have all latest device drivers including my nVidia card which is W10 Creator supported as well as system level drivers.

Hello,

same situation here after a clean install of Creator Update and 2 days of testing.

Eucontrol is stealing mouse events. Problems with double-click and popups, slow response in general. As soon you detach the Workstation in Eucontrol, problems disappear and system is working like a charm.

It seems an old Eucon bug is back. I remember having got the same problems with Windows 7 and an earlier version of Eucon.

So for now back to Anniversary Update (thanks to my ghost copy of the system) waiting for an update of Eucon.

In Win 10 Home Anniversary Update version, am I able to prevent an automatic update to Creators Update? Not clear to me...

2 options : make your workstation offline or block everything related to Microcosoft and Windows Update via the firewall in your router.
You don't have any other solution since you can not prevent Windows to self update. It's a pity since Windows 10.

Eucon 3.5 is not compatible with the Creators update.
Update or clean re-install doesn't matter, both the same issues again as during win10 launch. HTF can this happen after a six month test window for Avid?!?

v3.5 was released more than 6 months ago.
