Default Pro Tools keyboards

Just wanted to share something with everyone-

I was searching around for Mac Pro Tools keyboards other than the 250.00 Digidesign/Macally one.
Turns out Digi sells a cheaper one (119.00), and others do as well:

These guys both also sell keycap kits to replace the keys of your white "G5" Apple Pro keyboard. (As well as PC keyboards)

These look just like the one digi sells, same price. Apple Pro Keycaps are 79.00, keyboard is 119.00:

These look different, not as nice IMHO, but only 45.00 for Apple Pro keycaps, 99.00 for keyboard:

Whew, I'm overloaded with options... Keyboard stickers? New Digi keyboard? The ones mentioned above? Help - I need user suggestions for Win/PT LE. I'm kinda leaning toward stickers because I can apply only the ones I really want on there.

I have the stickers from the DigiStore. They are pretty heavy duty and are holding up fine. From what I have heard from others, they will last years. I have read recently of problems with the Editor Keys, but otherwise I have heard nothing but good things about them. I belive both digi and editory keys prices to be similar. I have also heard that the digi stickers are too big for a laptop, however, the editor keys are perfect size. You asked for user suggestions, well as a satisfied user of the DigiStore stickers I recommend them. $15 is a lot better that $100 or so.

Thanx for that. I've heard that the Editor Keys stickers are easier to read than the Digi stickers.

I have heard the Editor Keys are easier to read as well. I believe really the difference visually is that on the Digi stickers the letters and numbers of the key are a little hazy, whereas the editor key stickers are bold and bright. That might be the deciding factor for some. There have recently been quite a few threads on shortcut stickers going around here. Take the time and have a look . Might help you a bit...

I had the Digi stickers, they were quite hard for me to read, plus I found the white of the keys around the sticker distracting. I just replaced the keys with the Logic colored keys and love them. So much easier to read now that they are a solid color. $79 for just keys seams a little on the high side, but I am very happy with them other than the price.
