Cubivore,

You need to look on Sweetwater's site for the specials. I don't know how to link to stuff from my iPhone.

It's also mentioned in the "Special Offers" section of the Avid website. Basically, they're running a special on the HD Native/Omni bundle and the HD Native/HD IO 8x8 bundle. In each case they are $1500 off. It's a sale and you don't have to trade anything in. It's better than what they had with the trade up offer.

The Omni bundle is $4500 and the 8x8 bundle is $5500.

Just look for those bundles on Sweetwater, the price reflects the $1500 off.

Is this any closer to being resolved?

I'm a DVToolkit2 owner and I want CPTK tonight. I've got the internet, I've got a credit card. Take my money you fumbling idiots.

I was wondering if this (former) upgrade had been transformed into a different sort of deal at a different price, and I'm just not seeing it on the Avid site?

No, they must be arguing over its pricing structure. Avid has become one of the worst managed companies. It would be funny if it didn't effect our livelyhoods.

I'm off the Digi bandwagon after 15 years (former session8 user) if they don't provide some discount for people with DVToolkit 2. I bought DVToolkit one, then had to shell out a boatload for DVToolkit 2. This is all for my B-system, my A system is an HD2 PCI-x system that I have no idea what to do with either. I starting to audition other software.

Oh...an update concerning my previous post about the price of the CPTK going down (for unknow reason at 1499€). It's now back to its normal price of 1783€.
I have to admit that I am lost at this point.

So - hang tight!
"The next week or two" feels like almost two months. Any updates on this DigiTechSupt? We haven't heard from you all on this topic since October. What is the official word now? Should we ask Santa for an alternate gift this year?

Hey Avid, feeling passive aggressive lately?

Are you simply working on pricing structure, or are you in the middle of selling off Pro Tools altogether?
