Pro Tools Free Latest Version -Mbox Compitability

My friend just bought a new version of Pro Tools free and he want to know if any or certain M-boxes will work with his software. He is Mac based. His Mac is a Macbook Pro 2014 model.

Any help would be appreciated.

... and what is the “certain version” of the Mbox he is talking about? If he is not sure post a link to an online photo or product page.

The question is never really does an interface work with Pro Tools. The question is does that interface have a CoreAudio or ASIO driver that is supported on the operating system? And the exact version of the operating systems is? If a Firewire interface does the purchaser have a Firewire connector on their computer?

You might be helping your friend more by showing them how to post questions here. If he is thinking about buying an interface and does not hav an mbox already... there are many other interfaces I’d buy before an mBox. If he posts his needs/interests/budget etc. here folks should be able to give good advice.
