What Digidesign can't do is test all the various processor excellerator cards that are out on the market. What we recomend and find that works best with Pro Tools are Newer Technology Maxpower cards though this doesn't mean other processor cards don't work. If you set the "Show Topics..." link on the main page back @20-30 days you'll find various folders on this subject with other cards and their performance with various Pro Tools systems. Since your shopping around you might want to have a look.

Has anyone upgraded their 9600 with the Newer Maxpowr G3 500 mhz accellerator? I would like to increase the performance of my system, digi can't give recommendations. Anyone, anyone? What have you installed in your computer and how is it working for you? thanks.
