Re: Aux channels - still hearing the input tracks?
The better way would be to route the output of the channel to the buss, rather than via sends.
But if there’s a reason you need to do it this way, make the sends pre fader and mute the tracks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Aux channels - still hearing the input tracks?
Mmm, so one person says use sends, and you're saying that routing the output is better? ok....I'll try both and see what works! Thanks!

Aux channels - still hearing the input tracks?
Who said to use sends?
Regardless, the choice is yours. But normally, you’d route the outputs of your channels to a buss for a global effect such as compression or to control the whole submix level via a single fader. You’d use sends to... well send the signal to a shared time based effect such as reverb or delay. Also, doing it the way I suggested would fix the problem you’re having. Re: Aux channels - still hearing the input tracks?
Screenshot makes it clear what you’ve done wrong because at no point did you mention the sends.
You’ve double bussed your audio tracks. Remove or disable sends and set the drum audio channels out to your bus 3-4 instead of 23-24. If you want to be able to hit solo on the aux, solo safe each of those drum audio channels so they don’t get muted Last screenshot is right. (But you need to solo safe still if you plan to use solo on the aux)

Re: Aux channels - still hearing the input tracks?
If you choose to use pre-fader sends (wrong choice in my opinion), you also need to set levels from the sends because the main fader levels in those channels will then be ignored.
