Default Why can I only see one aggregate device in PT9

Hi,

I have the following problem: I created an audio device aggregate in OS X.
When I installed PT9, it created a second aggregate, consisting of my Macbook's internal I/O. I always get only one aggregate to show up in PT9 under Setup / Hardware - Peripherials. It's either mine or the one from PT9. Both are active in OS X. Am I doing something wrong?
I think I should be able to choose from the two. The PT aggregate includes the internal sound card, mine has other hardware assigned, no overlaps between the two.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mat

Cool Re: Why can I only see one aggregate device in PT9

Hey, Mat.
Have you tried going into your Audio/MIDI setup in your OS? If you click on ProTools Aggregate, you are then able to select which I/O items you want to serves as that aggregate.

I use this setup for using my Ensemble with my Eleven Rack (via SPDIF cables...very cool).

Maybe after setting up your aggregate (ok, I'm done saying that word for now) device settings, maybe trash your PT preferences, empty the trashcan, and then restart.

Hope this helps.
