TL Space IR install problems

I have a brand new 12 core OS X 10.8.2 mac and PT 10.3.2 fresh install.
Just installed TL_Space_10_2_1_Installer_77517.
Can't get the IR installers to load.
I get the message "One or more files were not written. Please check log for errors."
I searched and found not much.
Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. I have never successfully managed to load the IR library . If you figure this out please give a shout on the DUC I would like to be able to use them as well.

Hi,

So you have the IRs installer ok and they are installed? But you can't get them to load into TL space? To load the IRs in you have to use the plugins browser window on the right of the plugin GUI.

Can't remember exactly as its been a long time since I did it! I'll check later when I'm in th studio for the exact import precedure

I downloaded the IR's one by one from the Avid website.
When I use the plugins browser to install any of the IR's, I get the error message "One or more files were not written. Please check log for errors."
I've done some folder creation and permissions changing from the limited advice on the forums, but the suggestions don't match up exactly with the folder names in this freshly installed system and don't solve the problem.

Hi,

The library should be in Library/app support/Trillian lane labs/impulce responces

They will be organised in folder and will be .wavs.

open TL SPace and use the plugin browser on the right and select EDTI then try the options for import IR folder/ reset to default library etc

Since I had a new HDX purchase, I was able to talk to Avid support.
The solution that worked for me was to install the TL Space 9.02 version to create the IR folders in the library, then install the 10.2.1 version, then use the plugin to load the IR's. I'm not sure if my "Mountain Lion tweaks" program revealing the library or previous changing of preferences was necessary.

I'm having the same problem. The IRs are installed (verified via Show List in the prefs window) but they're not populating the selection window on the right.

Please don't repeat "To load the IRs in you have to use the plugins browser window on the right of the plugin GUI." That's how I installed them (successfully) in the first place. But they're not "available" in the browser pane on the right.

Fixed. The problem had to do with Permissions to the folder at (root)/Library/Application Support/Trillium Lane/TL Space/Impulse Responses. Basically I gave the whole world read/write permission and the installs worked as excepted. (Makes me wonder why the installer would create a folder with incorrect permissions.)
