arturia arp 2600 help

All apologies but Im a MIDI virgin trying to pop my cherry here..... Using The MBOX 2 with the LE 7.0 for windows... I have the Arturia ARP 2600 now that Ive installed all the correct pathing for RTAS I know of (per ARP manual) but now i find myself unable to open in any track type as an insert. The manual tells it like one must open it like any other plug-in and I'll have a window with it ready to go, but it doesnt list on any of the fields optional for the insert. Im just tryin to record whats played on the ARP2600 in a session but Nothing ive tried has worked. Any advice or insight would be enlightening.... also i see where the option to open reason adapted and click and so forth but arturia doesnt show in plug-in instruments. my asio preference in regards to protocol shows asio, but the driver shows none, when in stand alone both show asio.... please help!!!

First off, make sure you don't have the demo installed. Delete it in it's entirety if you do. Then re-inatll and make sure you've got it installed as a VST, RTAS and an AU. Sometimes all three of these have to be installed in order for a synth to work.

done, it still wont pull up in the protools session, it still only show reason, click, and amplitube for interts instruments..... i cant seem to find how here to play and record in a session

The Click plug, is only a mono plug, are you looking in the correct list, i.e., multi-channel plugs list?

Also are you running the Pro Tools Version 7 update for that VI?

ive only tried mono. but with the track on stereo, i tried it and i pulled it up but now no sound, so i guess im half way there......

Try inserting the VI in a Stereo Instrument or Stereo AUX/MIDI track.

i see i didnt know i had to change the level that it would start at 0. so problem solved now.... thank you filosofem, my next child will be named after you!!!!!!!!!! thank you x10
