Default McDSP 6030 Ultimate Compressor Native: How good is it?

I just got an email from Audiodeluxe.com saying that it's on sale for less than $179 for Native. It said it's like having 10 different compressors built in one according to the product info. My guitar teacher swears by these, I've never used an MCdsp stuff myself, although I've heard they're very good. So should I get these or not?

I picked up the 6030 awhile back and it's a great plug-in. Sounds great and it's very handy to be able to toggle down through the different comps and audition based on the same settings. McDSP sees alot of use here.

Love it. Using it in every mix. Worth every cent.

WKG is spot on. I use it for when I need to compress but I don't like what I'm getting. I use all the time when I need a little magic in my dynamics.

I'll use one of the compressors which has more traditional dynamics settings, get it close to what I want, and then click through all of the options to find the setting that fits in the mix best.
