Mac Studio(M1 Max)

Hello, the next days I'm planning to sell my old MacBook Pro 2019 16" and get the new Mac studio (M1 Max, 32gb ram, 1TB). I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with that machine and Pro tools. I'm working in post so I'm using big projects with video (I know avid's video engine is heavy). So anyone has any experience with this machine?

p.s. I know there is another thread about Mac studio but I lost cause its about 800 replies.

Yes, I am using that exact Mac Studio configuration with Pro Tools Ultimate 2022.5 and an Avid Carbon interface. All in all, I'm very happy with the computer, and it performs very well, but then again, I'm not working with video - I primarily work with bands.

I also happen to have a 2019 6-core i7/16 GB MacBook Pro, and there's no comparison. Heck, even my 16GB M1 MacBook Air is faster, quieter, and runs cooler than the 2019 MacBook Pro does. You should notice a significant improvement in overall performance with the Mac Studio compared to what you're using now.

I'm using a Mac Studio max with 2022.6 and work in post and this is the most stable, error free experience of my 25 years. Its the best its ever been!
