Default Attention Avid Protools 9 stem recording, large delay

HI guys,
I have a problem, I'm on win 764bit intel Quad 6600 4gb of ram, with an MBOX 2
I have protools 9 and cptk2.

Ok when I re-record my stems i'm getting a delay of 4095, or 2 frames of delay, and this is with no plugins all are disabled , this isn't good
I also noticed I have to run video sync at 10 1/4 frames rather than 2?
Delay compensation does nothing enabled or disabled.
When I monitor the input, there is no delay, only when recording the stem.

on my previous XP installation and running ProTools 8 I was getting around 1/4 of a frame delay or less.

anyone else on a mac getting this ?

for example VO bussed to VO Aux which is then Bussed to Stereo Mix Aux which is then Routed to record track, I end up with a delay on the record track of 4095 samples.

With an Mbox2 you don't have that option.

Im in front of my work v8 HD rig, it has an option compensate for output delays after record pass, im guess this option is in native version 9?

Hi s0und80y,
I mixed with an HD 4 and native (just to see what it is like) and did not notice any delay on record channels. I'm mixing with aux's and master faders. Not sure what is going on with your rig. Hope you get it worked out tho.
Best

Are you on a PC using version 9? so there was no sync issue between your master record, and your source tracks?

When I monitor the Full Mix record as its recording, everything is good no sync delay, but when you look at the placement of the master record 2pop its 4000-5000 samples delayed from the source 2 pop.

Will Avid ever get there software right?

On version 8, there was a very slight delay.

Yes windows 7 64 bit and PT HD 9 and PT native 9 using a RME fireface 400.
Hope you get it worked out. Maybe a out of date plug in or something.

So you have re-recorded audio via aux onto tracks with no delay?
