002R and Pro Tools 5.21 in OS 9 - Possible?
Hello. I am currently using a Digi 001 with a MDD Dual 1Ghz G4. Depending on what plug ins I need/use I will use either Pro Tools 5.21 in OS 9 or Pro Tools 6.1.1 in OS X. My system works reliably using both environments and my question is regarding the 002R hardware exchange program. Simply, if I upgrade to an 002R, will I still be able to open old and record new sessions using Pro Tools 5.2.1 in OS 9? Or are the 002 racks OS X/Pro Tools 6 only? Is there anyone using the 002 rack and OS9 Pro Tools 5.2.1? Many thanks for your assistance!
