Default C600 monitor channel\2496 monitor channel.

Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing a Fast Track C600 to my home studio. Right now I'm using older custom setup with a Delta AP 2496. My question is: Does the C600 have a similar monitor channel as the 2496? I make a lot of sample based music and have been using the Monitor channel mainly for sampling straight to my DAW. Is it possible to use the c600 in the same fashion? Below in the picture is the channel, or how I see it in my DAW. !

I know this is a AVID forum, but I hope someone would have had experience with the 2496. Thanks!
