Default C24 Main out Volume....

Running with a 002R for now.....

25 pin in (PT Source in) from 002R main out 1&2 (L&R)
25 pin out (Monitor Outs) on 1&2 to Hafler for NS10M's

Seems kinda quiet.

Was much louder straight off the 002R to the Hafler.

Through the 24, I gotta run the 002R wide open and 24 up half way to achieve a reasonable level.

It seems drastic to me...... any takes on this one?

- Are you running everything Balanced? (all 3 wires)
- Make sure that nothing is shorted (all it takes is a stray strand and you'll lose 6db)
- If all that checks out, you can raise the C24 to about 2/3 up. I'm pretty sure that's the nominal setting. (there should be a little 0 at that point on the board. So if you're running it now at about 1/2 way your probably down about 6 to 10db.

Default Re: C24 Main out Volume....

Everything balanced.

Thanx for the feedback though. Everything checks out. No shorts.

I guess maybe that's just how it is...

Kinda makes sense really- I'm used to a master fader and an monitor knob
(The knob was infinately variable - EVENLY all the way up or down)

The knob on the 24 is set up like a fader- more attenuation at the bottom than my old knob....

Just a little different.

THANX!!
