Default PT9 and Mac OSX 10.6.5 update
Are there any issues or am I good to hit the update key? I'm using a Pro quad core,

It's not approved by Avid yet, but anything I've read about 10.6.5 so far with other users seems to indicate that Pro Tools functions without many issues. If you do choose to update, let us know how it works out for you.

You might not see Avid Qualification for at least another week or two (maybe after the holiday next week).

So far, it's working here. As I was told, 10.6.5 update does not affect any core audio files, and fixed many bugs in Finder that caused problems for some when doing fast searching, such as Adobe Audition looking for plugins and crashing.

While they're still testing it, you should be able to update without problem, but if you're scared, then just wait.

OK, I just installed 10.6.3, now I know not to update through apples updater, but where can I find the combo update?, thanks

All working fine here - 10.6.5 - PT9 - 17" MBP.

Its so weird being able to use the laptop speakers for output and the internal mic as an input

(Also working fine on my MacPro with my 003 console)

ADC is awesome
Continuous Page Scrolling - finally
