Default Upgrade from "pt 2018 perpetual"

Hello!

I have a perpetual 2018 License. How do I upgrade to 2019? I'm only seeing prices for subscription accounts.

I've gone to "My Account", hoping to see a "Buy Now" or "Upgrade Now" button. No dice.

I'm still learning the "Avid way" of web communication.

Help, please!

You need to have active support plan subscription, that way your account shows latest updates

Thank you for the response!

So, given the kind of account I currently have, how do I purchase PT 2019 "perpetual"?

I do not want the "subscription" plan. Do I have to pay $599.00?

It doesn't matter if you want to or not, but you will have support plan if you want to have a new version of PT, that's how it is now. Don't get confused about renting a license. You have perpetual license but apparently your support plan is not active.

Even if you buy a new license that gives you a new version of PT, it is bundled with 1-year support plan subscription that you should renew if you want to stay current after that initial year. But as you already have perpetual license, all you need is renew your support plan and that active support plan gives the current downloads to your account.
