Default PT10.3.1 successfully installed

Hi,

just wanted to share the info that I successfully installed the PTHD10.3.1 update without a problem and it "feels" much snappier than 10.2 !

I de-installed (the small deinstallation) PT10.2 before the PT10.3.1 installation.

Only thing that happened was that my I/O settings of the current session I'm working on were overwritten. No big deal of course - I checked overwrite and loaded the session in and all was back to normal

Old bug re-introduced itself: the left panel on the mixing window seems to always be open when a session is opened. The panel should remember its state and should remain closed if it's closed when the session was last saved.

No biggie, but it still annoys me :P

You're not alone, the tracks list window bug annoys me too.

Are you on Mountain Lion or Lion? Thinking about going from current

Pro Tools 10.2
OS X Lion 10.7.x
Intel Mac Pro Tower - Early 2008 3.1 model
Pro Tools HD|2 TDM NonAccel with 96 IO and 24bit ADAT bridge using Magma 2 card expansion chassis (PCI X-to PCIe)

to

Pro Tools 10.3.1
OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.x

Has anyone else done this without any big problems to speak of? Can you comment on performance? Did things improve? Any new features to speak of?

Last night I bit the bullet and upgraded. First Lion to Mountain Lion, then PT 10.2 HD to PT 10.3.1 HD. Happy to report all went well. The PT installation failed the first time I ran it, but worked the 2nd time. Cheers!
