Default Re: 10.3.2 is Here

While the update is available in my avid account it's still not showing up within Pro Tools under the About>Update drop down.

So, will I have to a complete clean install of this? Or will it be available as an update within the software itself?

I'm on 10.3.0. I'm in no rush to update as it stands but will be good to know.

The 10.3.2 installer is a full installer.

All of the version info for 10.0-10.3.2 has been added to our Update Notification system now, so launching Software Updater or going to Help > Check For Updates in Pro Tools should prompt the notification and lead you to the 10.3.2 page.

10.3.2 is a full installer, so Avid recommends doing a Clean Uninstall of you previous version before running the 10.3.2 installer.

You can check the Read Me to see what's fixed in 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 then decide for yourself if you need either update.

What the hell is so difficult. Click the link and DL it, done!!! Who cares if it's in your Avid account? Does anyone actually use the Avid site anyway???

Currently on 10.3.1.

Only major bug is when scrolling the presets of let's say waves H EQ while the audio is playing thrue i get clicks and pops when changing presets this is only when playback is running. Will 10.3.2 help resolve this or it's plug in bugs.

Don't forget the automation breakpoints bug that is an Avid stickie, in the form of a technical alert, at the top of every P Tools 10 forum page.

Also, 10.3.2 HD is running smoothly and solidly here.

quick and painless upgrade... uninstalled 10.2,

now running 10.3.2!! i'm loving the quick session loads!!
you have no idea!!... i have a bad habit of creating a separate {customer happy}
session when i go in for major edits.. and jumping back n' forth at a later
date just to A-B some changes is a total PITA!! hahha... no problem now.!!

Don't do it! If you think Microsoft is bad, wait till Apple pulls the carpet out from beneath you regularly.

I have never had a problem with ProTools on Windows - XP or 7 64bit. It always outperforms the equivalent Mac.

I use Macs at work, shower myself thoroughly, and then use Windows at home. Using a Mac all day every day really brings it home that they're nothing special.

Best of luck with the install. Make sure your tech support person is not an Apple fanboy....
