Default Where to upload WAV files in Protools

I am using Pro-Tool 10.8.3 and recently I've purchased packages of audio WAV files. Mostly drums and bass percussion and samples.
Is it possible to load the folders directly into Pro-Tools ?

I am able to load VST files via the plug in offered by another manufacturer.
I open the plug in on a instrument track and get rocking.

My desire is to be able to audition the WAV files in real time in the Pro tools session.

Is there a plugin that works with Pro-Tool that will accept WAV files ?

Appreciate it !

If you open the Import Dialogue in your session, you can preview the files there.

Glad to help. The Import Dialogue will also tell you the type of file, bit/sample and length, offer sample rate conversion and, in very fine print at the bottom, tell you whether you can import it directly into the session.

Quick tip: If you are offered the chance to COPY the file(s) being imported, always do so.
