Impossible to find SIIG FireWire 2-Port ExpressCard FireWire adapter

Hi,

I see that you´re always saying about many compatibility errors in pro tools with firewire ports: "This does not look like one of the Digidesign qualified firewire interfaces. I would recommend getting one".

That´s right but I Have tried to get the only one recommended for laptops in windows with 003 in digidesign compatibility page but it´s impossible to get it here in Spain!

What can we do if we want to fix the errors cause by this. Another possibilities or compatible products?

Can't you order it online from Newegg or mwave?

It´s only available the 800 firewire ports but no the 400. What can I do? Also this is American shops, i´m in Spain (Europe)

I´dont know but in any case they only have the 800 firewire port. I need the 400 firewire port...
