When I've finished recording for the day, I'm finished. Pack it up and enjoy what's left of the day.

Then I say this to you with the utmost respect; use a tool that provides you with what you need. No tool is perfect for every job. Assess your needs and find the tool that satisfies most of them. But I still say, an extra 20 minutes at the end of the day won't kill you. Find something else to do while that happening.
No one cares about your work around or justification. Everyone works different. We should have the option to do a offline bounce period.

Wake up!!!!!

We are the one loosing time!!!

Think of it this way you would have a extra 5 min at the end of your day.

If you feel you're losing time over it... why do you still use Pro Tools?

I mean honestly... you're here complaining. Experienced professionals are giving you logical reasons why you don't really need offline bounces, and effective work arounds and you just tell them they are "dumbass" and that no one cares.

Clearly someone cares if they are well established professionals. If you are losing time and money over real-time bounces... you need to find a new profession.

Hehe, sounds like a plan! I'll get the Youtube channel going tonight, so we can start uploading our masterpieces.

And don't forget to "Like" the No-Fi page.

You sound like one of those drivers who desperately runs a light only to sit and wait at the next light - but hey, you beat that other light!

And you are fool if you think you can have an extra time. You have what you have. It's just the way you use it that counts.

Ok now everyone is a philosopher. I make my living with Pro Tools. Most of you can't say that. I see areas for improvement. There are many more besides this one.
If most of you are happy with mediocrity good for you.

You don't even know me. I'm the guy that would time the lights perfect so I don't have to stop at any of them.

We should have a mix contest between everyone in this thread. Post the results on Disms nofi page. Or I'll make a Facebook page just for it
Everyone will download the same session and post your results
Who's game?

So... how does a subjective mixing contest prove anything about real-time vs. offline bounces?

And who is going to be the judge of this contest?

Just want to see who has the right to be so judgmental of time wasted.

Really what does any of this have to do with real time bounce? I am just sick of No Talent people posting time isn't important. They don't care cuz they don't have clients asking them for bounces everyday. I wish you guys could see my phone texts. You would be saying what I am saying X10!!!

So go stretch your legs or feed you cat while you make no money in music!

Ah, the bitter taste of defeat.

Stop lashing out and fire up your copy of Cubase. Maybe you'll also gain some savings on your mobile plan.
