Please Help With Pro Tools Errors

Hi,

I am getting messages now from Pro Tools, and I need help. It was working fine not very long ago, and I haven't upgraded my operating system or anything system oriented since the last time I used Pro Tools.

Two images of the error messages are attached. I really would like to get this sorted out right away. I have had problem after problem with Pro Tools, and I want it to work because I paid for it. It should work. It works in great studios all over the world, but it doesn't work for me for some reason.

Please help me.

When stuff like this happens I completely clean out my system of pro tools and reinstall. Making sure I delete all preferences, etc....

I have never seen those errors before on a Mac or PC.

Not saying it will help but something isn't right.

I have the exact same error. Just started happening recently. i posted a thread here http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=388890 but no one has responded.

I'm still stuck. Let us know if a PT reinstall fixed it. I am tempted to do it as well.

i get this occasionally when trying to open a session via the built in audio of my macbook rather than my Metric Halo Interface. It usuall happens when the last opened SR was >44.1.

The only fix i've found is to use the PT Prefs app to safely remove all preference files.

This gets rid of custom colour coding, plugin favourite lists, etc but it did solve the problem for me.

If you want help, you need to give a *LOT* more info. Hardware, system, versions, peripherals, storage, etc...
