Default Elastic : the next upgrade please

Now you've all got folder tracks, and I'm sure you're all super happy with them, can I have my request of getting "super elastic audio" please? I.e elastic, but with 2020 technology, rather than 2007 technology. I can expand on this if I have to but I'm sure you know what I mean.

Nice one but I would say overhaul MIDI first!

I'd settle for 'consistently working elastic audio', but I'm not holding my breath for either.

I surely would not hold my breath.

Look at MIDI, for example. In the early days it was very crude as with everyone else, got a big revamp in 5.0 (1999) and then MIDI Editor and Score Editor in 8.0 (2008) and has not seen any love ever since. I am thinking PT will be last to implement MIDI 2.0 but would be happy to be proven wrong.

Point being; once something is done, it is likely not revamped until absolutely necessary.
