Default HD Interfaces unknown

Hello everyone,

We just intalled a Protools 12.7 on a Mac Pro G5 (aluminium tower).
We installed an HD Native Card (upgrading from HD2 (card & Accel)).
We are using 3 interfaces (HD 192, HD 96 & HD 96i).

Each interfaces are recognized separatly by the HD native card and appears in the Hardware setup window (one at a time). But when these interfaces are linked (cascaded) together, only the first in the daisy chain is recognised.

Any idea on why ? I couldn't find any infos about this.

Thanks.

MatTt

You don't mean G5 or else PT 12.7 wouldn't launch.

So, not sure which Mac or OS you're running, you don't say.

To run HD you need:
HD asset on iLok.
HD Driver installed
Digilink I/O asset on iLok.

Yes I do have an Apple G5 (aluminium tower) with Yosemite (10.10.5).

PT is launching without any trouble (except for the interfaces).

No, you have a Mac Pro. G5's were discontinued in 2006. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Mac_G5

What about the other things I mentioned?

Sorry I didn't saw the other questions...

So,

To run HD you need:
HD asset on iLok : Hmm nothing about this one on my Ilok
HD Driver installed : 12.5
Digilink I/O asset on iLok : yes I do have it on the Ilok

I juste read that I would need to choose my HD driver in correlation with the OS I'm using... Any thoughts on HD driver working with Yosemite 10.10.5

New licenses are needed for 12.6 and beyond.

See: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...hatsChanged126

Get the license sorted and update the HD Driver.

Appman doesn't have anything to do with licenses, just software. Have you synced your iLok to make sure the assets were downloaded?

Also, I'd go back to your dealer and have them help you, that's part of their job. Some of this stuff is difficult/time consuming to troubleshoot online. My session starts soon so I will not be revisiting this thread again until later today.
